Police captured extended furlough inmate John Towle Thursday and returned him to Hawaii Community Correctional Center.
On April 30, Towle failed to check in at the Kona Furlough House. Inmates in the extended furlough program live and work outside of the facility but must check in at various times.
Towle is serving time for unlawful methamphetamine trafficking. His next parole hearing is scheduled for June of this year.
